Honeymoons in Chiang Mai
Chiang Mai in northern Thailand provides a refreshing contrast to Bangkok. Located in a valley and surrounded by hills and mountains, Chiang Mai has the advantages of the city, but nature is close at hand. The location also means that for most of the year, temperatures and humidity remain slightly lower than Bangkok and other parts of the south making it more comfortable to enjoy what the city has to offer. The old town district has relatively little traffic and it's easy to get round by foot or bicycle and explore the dozens of ancient temples located within the city walls. Even amongst fellow Thais, Chiang Mai people have a reputation for being easy-going and the atmosphere here is more relaxed than in Bangkok.
