Flying in to Ko Samui will leave you in no doubt that you have arrived on a tropical island. On a clear day, the views are gorgeous as you fly over the Gulf of Thailand and arrive at the delightfully quaint Ko Samui airport. Honeymoons on Ko Samui are all about kicking off your shoes and relaxing with your partner. The two most popular beaches on Ko Samui are Chaweng and Lamai which are long enough and wide enough to not feel crowded even during the peak season. For a more secluded option the picturesque bay at Choeng Mon is a good choice. Bophut Beach might not be as pretty as Choeng Mon and it lacks the long stretches of soft sand that Lamai and Chaweng have. However, this is a very pleasant part of Samui and the Fisherman’s Village at Bophut is home to some of the island’s best restaurants.
